This glossary was developed by the Research Policy, Evaluation and Reporting Section of the Swiss Federal Office of Public Health to help improve communication about what evaluation is and does. By providing a harmonious and common basis for our discussions with partners, it is hoped that we can reduce the terminological confusions frequently encountered in our work, particularly since the introduction of results-based management and its associated measures.
